I just want to clarify a few things:
* Al fencers are required to assist with setup and take down for home tournaments. Please let me know if your fencer is unable to participate. * Set up in the cafeteria will begin right after school so please make sure any donated set up items (especially tape rolls) are sent in Friday morning or dropped off by 3:15. * Coolers should be delivered Friday empty as we will get the ice from the school and use them to chill the drinks overnight. * Potluck Dinner 5:30 – Christine has offered to make taco spaghetti but we could also use other items such as salad, garlic bread and dessert. Please let me know if you can help.
Friday To-Do Items
1. Make sure the floors are clean. 2. Measure and place blue tape for the strips and extension cords. Coach Vail has a measuring device to help. 3. Set up tables for scoring boxes, concessions, check in, statistician and armorers. 4. Place directional signage and signage in the school (strips and classrooms). 5. Set up items for concessions and make pricing sign.
* Volunteers involved in set up or check in should be at DHS by 6:45. Everyone else should be there by 7:30 * Fencers and volunteers should wear DHS t-shirts.
